Imperial Boomerang
The murders of unarmed civilians on the streets of Minneapolis, including the killing today of the intensive-care nurse Alex Jeffrey Pretti, would not come as a shock to Iraqis in Fallujah or Afghans in Helmand province.

Israel Is Turning the Yellow Line Splitting Gaza into a Physical Barrier
Last month, the Israeli military began constructing earth berms in areas along the yellow line, physically cutting off Palestinians from the Israeli-controlled zone and the rest of Gaza.

Follow Gaza Mutual Aid Collective

We are committed to monetarily helping the people of the steadfast Gaza, whose quality of life has been progressively deteriorating for almost two decades by the colonial air, land, and sea blockade and siege by the Zionist occupation. By materially and directly aiding the people of Gaza, the liberation of Palestine becomes closer as revolutionary potential is uplifted by increasing means for support, infrastructure, and building community via self-sufficient projects, medical aid, and rebuilding.

Defend Academic Freedom at SJSU – Reinstate Dr. Sang Hea Kil

San José State University has dismissed Dr. Sang Hea Kil, a tenured professor, effective November 26, despite the findings of its own Faculty Hearing Committee. After a public hearing, the committee recommended no sanctions and raised concerns that the disciplinary process may have been influenced by external political pressure.
Despite these findings, the university president overruled the committee and imposed termination. The decision marks a concerning escalation. Dr. Kil is the first tenured professor fired for Palestine advocacy, and she is now entering arbitration without pay or benefits.

This decision undermines academic freedom and civil rights protections at public universities. If allowed to stand, it sets a chilling precedent for faculty nationwide.

Take action now: Demand that SJSU reverse Dr. Kil’s termination, respect the findings of its own faculty review process, and uphold academic freedom.

Call Script:
Hello, I’m calling to express my deep concern about the Syrian Government's attack on Kurdish communities across the Northeast of Syria, and to urge you to take action to protect American security interests and prevent the ethnic cleansing of Kurds.
For several days now, Syrian state forces have been carrying out a major assault on the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces – our longtime allies in the fight against ISIS. In the process, Damascus-backed militias have also released thousands of ISIS fighters from prisons in Raqqa and Hasakah in the process.
As the Syrian army advances, Kurds and other cultural minorities are being forced to flee their homes and subjected to humiliation, torture, execution, and mutilation. Despite numerous attempts by Kurdish leaders to reach a ceasefire agreement, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has refused to halt his attacks, seeking instead to consolidate his power by force. As a result, the country is now facing a humanitarian catastrophe and possible genocide, with cities like Kobani under attack on all sides from Turkish-backed militias and Syrian army forces.
This situation is spiraling out of control, plunging Syria into violence and threatening the security of the United States.
In the interests of peace, stability, and the protection of innocent lives, the United States must intervene immediately to:
Demand that the Syrian government immediately cease all attacks.
Demand that Syrian government forces and Turkish-backed militias withdraw to their positions West of the Euphrates River.
Resume negotiations with the US-allied Syrian Democratic Forces for a federated Syria that guarantees the full cultural and democratic rights of all minorities.
Include international monitors for all future talks so that promises and agreements signed by al-Sharaa can be enforced.
I urge you to insist that the Trump administration deescalate the situation, facilitate dialogue, and support the process of democratic integration. The U.S. must also do everything in its power to stop Turkey from exacerbating this conflict.

Revolution, War and the Neighborhood Resistance Committees

Interview with Marwan Osman (Sudan Uprising Germany) and Mai Shatta (Kurve Wüstrow) from July 2023. Both are Sudanese activists in exile.
There are over 5,200 Neighborhood Resistance Committees in Sudan. They were formed from 2013 onwards because the Islamist government had destroyed the trade unions who had brought down dictators in 1964 and 1985.
In 2016, there was nevertheless a very successful political strike that lasted 3 days. After that, Neighbourhood Resistance Committees started to play an important political role.
The revolution in Sudan started in December 2018, with mass protests against the dictator Omar Al-Bashir , who had ruled the country for 30 years. He was overthrown in April 2019. A military council was then installed to form a transitional government. The people, however, demanded a civilian government and organised a sit-in in front of the military headquarters in Khartoum, with up to 100,000 people meeting in the evening. On 3 June 2019, the military council brutally dissolved the sit-in and killed 3,000 people: the Khartoum massacre.
Since state structures collapsed when the war began in April 2023, the Neigborhood Resistance Committees have acted as a de facto alternative government. They organise water, food, medical care, psychosocial support for those bombed out, safe shelters for women. They are currently trying to organise the harvesting of crops. Nevertheless, Sudan is in a humanitarian emergency situation. The world remains silent about the situation, while foreign capital buys up the fertile land. At the same time, the population lacks the most basic necessities, hardly any humanitarian aid arrives, because the big aid organisations do not recognise the Neighbourhood Resistance Committees.
Millions of people will starve to death if the harvest is not brought in.
"What we need from the global leftists is just to spread the word and put enough pressure on their governments to lift their hands from the Sudanese internal politics. If the international community distanced itself from supporting these dictators in Sudan, I think the Sudanese people are able to deal with them."

CAIR ACTION ALERT: Tell Congress to Sanction Sudan’s RSF and Impose UAE Arms Embargo

Join the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in calling on members of Congress to express support for imposing maximum sanctions on Sudan's genocidal Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and an arms embargo on its alleged funder, the United Arab Emirates.
TAKE ACTION NOW - FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW!
CAIR's call for Congress to support these steps follows the UAE-backed RSF's massacres of civilians in Sudan on El Fashr, the latest in a long line of crimes against humanity.
Contact your members of Congress today and urge them to take decisive action to end the RSF's reign of terror, hold its backers accountable, and support a stable, representative Sudan where civilians can live in peace and dignity.
Please take action to:
Impose maximum sanctions on the RSF and its leadership.
Support and co-sponsor Senator Van Hollen's  S.935, a bill to prohibit certain weapons sales to the United Arab Emirates, or sponsor and support similar legislation in the House.
Impose an arms embargo on any other nation found to be arming or funding the RSF.
Lift all U.S. sanctions on the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) while urging it to commit to a clear, credible path toward a representative civilian government.
The RSF, a paramilitary militia implicated in mass killings, ethnic cleansing, and racist attacks on Black Sudanese refugees, continues to receive alleged support from the UAE, Israel, and other U.S. allies despite existing sanctions.
In recent months, RSF forces have carried out drone strikes on mosques and power stations, burned displacement camps, and executed civilians and aid workers in Darfur and Port Sudan.

Support Congolese Children's Education

Back to Education is an initiative dedicated to improving the learning conditions of schools in Congo. For too long, children specially in Eastern Congo have been forced to learn in overcrowded, unsafe, and under-resourced classrooms — if they are able to attend school at all.Our goal is to transform this reality by creating a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where every child has the chance to learn, grow, and dream. Beyond books and classrooms, we want to restore hope and dignity, reminding our children that education is not a privilege but their fundamental right and the key to a brighter future.

Hope and Healing Fundraiser

Hope and Healing is a humanitarian initiative led by Team Congo, in close collaboration with its long-time partner AJPC, a grassroots organization active on the ground in Kivu, eastern DRC.This project aims to provide psychological support and trauma recovery for survivors of the ongoing genocide - adults and children who have endured sexual violence and war-related trauma.Through culturally sensitive and community-based care, Hope and Healing offers survivors a path toward mental restoration, dignity, and renewed hope. With the support of contributions, our goal is to establish a dedicated, ongoing safe space where survivors can come freely to access professional mental health support - completely free of charge.Together, we are planting seeds of hope and healing. Much love, Team Congo
